ORbike Member Profile: Sarah Eustis
September 3, 2009
Sarah Eustis, an avid daily rider from Portland, says she became an ORbike member because biking is her primary means of transportation and entertainment. When not on her bike, Sarah enjoys training for triathlons, work (she loves her job), and hanging out with her friends and family (especially if it involves biking and eating with them).
Sarah has built up a long list of favorite biking memories including: 1) Taking seven kids from the Bronx on an 11-day bike trip along the underground Railroad in Ohio 2) Cycling four New York City boroughs in one day with the man she fell in love with and joined on a move to Portland 3) Filmed by Bike Festival in Portland.
So what's her favorite ORbike member event? "Worst Day of the Year Ride, 2008," she says. "It was my first ride as a member and as a volunteer. I rode the route twice!" A great ride indeed! The event Sarah was most anticipating next was the Portland Century. She thoroughly enjoyed the ride and ORbike thinks she'll probably be on the route again next year. We look forward to seeing Sarah at our future events as well!
