Competitor NW just recently published their list of the best of 2007 - as chosen by readers. Check it out, do you agree? What were your favorite rides and events? Topping the list are Oregon favorites Reach the Beach (an ORbike member event), Mt. Bike Oregon (another ORbike member event) and the Portland Marathon.

There were too many to mention! Portland Century really came through this year and I also go on a lot of Shift rides that are free. With those, there are definitely too many to mention in this small space! It was a faboo year to be riding a bicycle!

The Oregon Randonneurs Screech Owl populaire. A metric century that started in St. Paul at dusk. The roads are quiet at night and the scenery like none you're seen on other rides. :)

I loved the Naked Bike ride and the night ride. I like the quirkier rides, as I am not a "racer" or very athletic. But I still love to ride rmy bike! Looking foward to the "Worst Day of the Year" ride and all of the summer rides.

ZooBomb, hands down. A great party and a race if ya want it, gravity bikes and dirt surfers are giving everyone a run for their money these days. winter is the best time to 'bomb, be there or be square!

I'd have to say the Portland Century. I like having rest stops because I am new to cycling. I even did the long full 100 miles and it was pretty cool. I never knew about those areas of Oregon so close to Portland yet so rural and that was cool.

I would have to vote for the Worst Day of the Year Ride which my friends always call the Worst Ride as a joke because it's not the worst it is pretty fun. I also had a blast on the midnight ride that started from the train station. I liked that we got to watch movies in NoPo. Pretty awesome!!

I agree with the Worst Day of the Year Ride comment. I really enjoy that I am supporting a cause while having so much fun. Every year I try to bring another new person with me. This year... MY MOM! (she is 71)

I had a great time on a Slug Velo ride last summer. I'm a slow rider and I really appreciate that they are laid back riders who don't go too fast or worry about that kind of thang.

I had a great Cyclocross Season. I started racing, but by mid season I was just spectating. Damn that's good clean fun.
