Reach the Beach Pre-Ride Party

The Reach the Beach pre-party is this Sunday, April 29th at REI. Come on over to pick up your rider number so that on the morning of the ride, you're all set to hit the road. They'll be serving up yummy hors d'oeuvres and providing plenty of samples from Clif Bar, Pioneer Organics and more. You'll also get 10% all REI merchandise, a chance to ask fundraising questions and they'll have the new Reach the Beach t-shirt for sale.
Here's a tip: come later in the evening. The event is 7-9 pm. People start lining up at 6 pm, which means there is a huge line at the beginning. Come at 8 pm and avoid the madness.

If you didn't make it to Packet Pickup, you can just get your rider number and map at the start line.

There were no lines at REI on Sunday and I was really impressed with that. I had to get to a friend's house and was sure I'd be stuck in line for a good 45 minutes, but it took me only 15 mintes to get through the whole process. Woo HOO! Now I'm REALLY getting excited about the ride.

My son and I are registered for the ride. We can't log into our acct to check on our balance due. I think that i paid ahead of time the mandatory $50 for each of us but i can't be sure and i couldn't get to REI to pick up our numbers due to a conflict.
I am concerned that my registration didn't go thru dince i haven't received any communication via email from you so far. I wish someone would check so i don't show up at Amity, and they tell me i can't register at the last minute and ride the race.
Please look me up in your system and let me know ahead of time what to do. This is my second email request and I still haven't head a word.

We're glad that was all resolved for you, Richard.
To everyone else: Don't worry! We'll get you on the ride. If you're not yet registered you can still do so. If you have not raised your $50, there is plenty of time (start by sending an e-mail to friends and family and tell them why you're riding). And we will always send you a confirmation e-mail once you reach that $50. If you did not received a receipt via e-mail when you registered, that means either your e-mail address was incorrect or your e-mail program is blocking our messages. Which also means that our notification when you reach $50 may not come through. Just check your MY HQ on the website. Log in and see how much you've raised. Then raise some more!
